Navigating Life Transitions

A 6-week online group course starting January 6th, 2022

Course Description

This six-week group course will help you build an understanding of the psychological, emotional, and physical impacts of going through transitions.

We experience transitions regularly throughout our lives, but most often we do not have the time, nor tools to process how they impact us. These changes affect our identity, functioning, relationships, work life, personal growth, and sense of well-being. In addition, many people have experienced challenges related to the pandemic.

Whether you perceive transitions as exciting, difficult, or both, this group will help you build awareness in order to understand and navigate these situations. You will learn new tools while connecting with others who are also seeking to build similar skills.

Thursdays from 6:30pm - 8pm

January 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, February 3rd, & 10th

Due to ongoing health and safety concerns related to the pandemic, this group will be offered online through telehealth. A secure link will be sent to participants before the start of the course.

Course Cost: $480

Payment will be processed in full the day before the course starts.

Laura Ward, LMHC (She/her)

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Seattle, WA

Laura Ward is a Mental Health Counselor, who received her Masters Degree from Antioch University in Seattle, and specializes in trauma work after receiving in-depth training through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. Regardless of the particular issues that Laura’s clients are working on in psychotherapy, all of her clients have worked through important life transitions while in her care. Laura views transitions as involving the loss of what was, facing a future unknown, and processing a variety of emotions that can be challenging, enjoyable or both. She supports clients through these changes by helping them increase their mindful awareness, helping them work through worry or fear, and exploring how they can increase their sense of connection to their Self and others in the process.
